Context
The Blankfaces works at the intersection of streetwear, community, and social purpose. Collections are built with people who have experienced homelessness, turning personal accounts into garments, graphics, and public-facing campaigns.
As part of the in-house team, I produced clothing graphics, launch visuals, printed pieces, and digital content, while preparing production-ready artwork for DTG and screen print.
The visual approach was intentionally blunt at times, using political reference points, rough textures, and provocative compositions to pull attention toward issues that are too often softened or ignored.
Direction
The work combines documentary cues, worn surfaces, sharp type, and punchy compositions to create graphics that feel urgent rather than polished for politeness.
Each piece needed to keep the person behind the story visible. The challenge was to make apparel that could stand on its own culturally while still carrying the honesty of the source material.
The project also moved into collaborations, including a limited hot sauce release with Buck's Bar, giving the brand new routes into retail, food culture, and local conversation.
Across the work, design was treated as a way to provoke attention, build recognition, and give community stories a physical form people could wear and share.
